As anyone knows, the Internet is full of parodies - some are good, some are bad. It's tough to find out which is which sometimes! However, for the most part, these parodies may inspire people to create their own products or write about new ideas for their personal blog. Look no further than Snoop Dogg's new song "Snoop Doggystyle Zip" on his album Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. The new song includes a very catchy chorus that people can't stop singing along with! Even if you're not familiar with the song, it would be easier to analyze this parody if you know what it normally sounds like. Here is the original song for comparison: Woof, Doggy Doggies! Woof, Doggies! Go on and ride it like a pony. Go on and ride it like my last name was Horsie. Go on and ride it like my last name was Horsie. I’ma do you like I did her. And you don’t even have to call me Snoop Doggy Dogg. Even though this song is simply a catchy tune, it has caused the whole Internet to go wild with blogs, videos, pictures, and lyrics! Some of these parodies are so creative that they have become known as internet memes which basically means that people are spending more time creating content online than actually using it for its true purpose. The song originated on February 28th, 2008, when YouTube user tmgdmg uploaded a video of himself singing along to the original Song "Snoop Dogg (What's My Name Pt. 2)" on his way home. The video quickly spread across the Internet, mainly via e-mail, with many people's perceptions of the song changed forever. Media outlets also picked up the story very quickly. On March 1st, BoingBoing posted an article about it on their website with a link to the video. This article was then linked to by Slashdot, which led to many more people viewing and spreading it even further throughout teh Internet. This particular parody received quite a bit of media attention for being so unique and funny. However, it didn't stop there! Since then, there have been numerous videos that have been made based on this song - some are good, some are bad... Here is a list of some of the best ones! After several weeks, this meme has become so popular that it has been covered on many other websites and even TV news. Even Snoop Dogg himself has gotten in on this parody as well! He first appeared as a cameo in a March 17th video uploaded by YouTube user elizaw95, where she was dancing around to the song and overreacting to every lyric. Later that day, Snoop Dogg appeared in another video uploaded by YouTube user peterbukowski sporting a zapato (a traditional Mexican footwear that looks like sandals). cfa1e77820
